Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology > Teaching
We help educate the pharmacists and drug design experts of the future. We deliver research-based undergraduate and postgraduate teaching through a range of pharmaceutically related courses, as well as project supervision.
Bachelor and Master programmes
Bachelor and Master courses are offered through the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (PharmaSchool).
As a student at PharmaSchool, you may undertake a research project within the Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology. We can also offer projects to students from other faculties within Copenhagen University, as well as from other universities in Denmark or abroad.
Your project will form part of the ongoing research in our laboratories, and you will work alongside one or more supervisors who have detailed knowledge about your specific project. There may also be opportunities to undertake a Master project in collaboration with our research partners in companies or other universities, either in Denmark or abroad.

PhD courses are offered through the Graduate School of Health and Medical Sciences.
A PhD project can be completed entirely or partly within the Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology. You can apply for advertised PhD scholarships, or you can submit your own project proposal in agreement with a supervisor, while applying for full or partial financial support from other departments or funds.
During the course of your PhD, you will be enrolled in a graduate programme, for example Drug Research Academy (DRA). DRA is tailored especially to PhD students working across the pharmaceutical disciplines within the Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology and the Department of Pharmacy.
