My area of research is cancer biology. Specifically, for the past four years i have been working with colorectal cancer and its premalignant precursors, adenomas. Main lines of investigation in these samples include whole genome sequencing (WGS) as well as proteomics. Other methods employed to investigate the adenoma-to-carcinoma sequence include cell line work (cell viability assays, drug treatments) and image analysis using high-resolution images of IHC slides.
Additionally i have carried out as well as supervised projects employing CRISPR-Cas9, which ultimately resulted in generation of stable mutant cell lines.
