A CAN-group master student is Brain Battle finalist

Collin A. Shampine is one of three finalists in the Lundbeck Brain Battle, an annual competition MSc students or MSc graduates seeking an industrial PhD in neuroscience at Lundbeck.

The research in the CAN-group is focused on deciphering the neural circuits and immune-to-brain signalling mechanisms involved in regulating affective state during disease.

Research presentation for 250 high school students

In the Lundbeck Brain Battle finale, the participants compete by presenting their thesis in the most engaging and compelling way to an audience of up to 250 high school students with an interest in science. The students will then vote on the presentations.

Lundbeck Brain Battle is part of the annual Danish science event Forskningens Døgn and the finals take place 28th of April.
