Primary fields of research

My research focuses on utilizing biochemometric tools to pinpoint  antibacterial and anticancer compounds from plant or microbial crude extracts, followed by targeted isolation, structural elucidation with mass spectrometry (MS) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), biological evaluation of the isolated compounds, and further ligand-receptor bingind characterization.

Fields of interest:

• Natural product chemistry;
• NMR (1H, 13C, HSQC, COSY, HMBC, ROESY, saturation transfer difference NMR, and etc);
• MS, metabolomics, chemometrics, and molecular network;
• Quantum chemistry calculations, molecular docking, molecular dynamics;
• Screening of peptide library with phage display;
• Applications of artificial intelligence in drug design and drug discovery.
