Medicinal chemistry, Organic chemistry and Radiochemistry
We operate at the interface of medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry and radiochemistry. Our research is carried out within a highly interdisciplinary team covering a broad range of scientific areas. The activities of the group span topics from CNS diseases to cancer and bacterial infections, with a particular focus on click chemistry and bioorthogonal chemistry.

 

  • Tetrazine ligation for pretargeting and the modification of biomolecules
  • Design and optimization of pharmacokinetic properties of radiopharmaceuticals
  • Development of radiolabeling strategies, particularly for astatine-211 and tritium
  • Application of radiotherapy in non-traditional areas, such as antibody–drug conjugates and bacterial targeting
