Translational Pharmacology covers pharmacological research in the circle of interaction between petri dish and patient. The discipline spans research projects within clinically relevant in vitro disease models, in vivo pharmacology, pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modelling, pharmacovigilance, big data analyses and clinical trials. The focus of the research is optimizing therapy towards precision medicine for the benefit of patients.
