Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology

The Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology Discipline (MCP) is an interdisciplinary division that brings together about 23 scientific staff, many of whom work in areas related to drug design and discovery.

The scientific areas encompassed by MCP members are very diverse, ranging from cancer, to regulation of metabolism and neuroscience. Our research bridges classical methodologies in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, and cell biology with modern pharmacology.
