I am a biochemist by training, with a focus on in vitro and in vivo work, and am passionate about translational research using radiopharmaceuticals to detect and treat diseases. I completed my PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) in Germany at the Werner Siemens Imaging Center, where I advanced several novel radiotracers as tools for reporter gene imaging and to detect cancer to preclinical application. Now, I work with Prof. Herth to expand my knowledge in neuroscience and pretargeted imaging. I love to teach and train young scientists and am engaged in international imaging societies.
